Hypnotherapy utilises hypnosis, a naturally occurring and thoroughly enjoyable state of relaxation, and combines it the techniques learned by the hypnotherapist, to bring about positive changes to an individual’s  negative ways of thinking, feeling or behaving.

 

The power of the mind is much underestimated and people simply don’t realise that they have the capabilities inside their minds to do themselves a power of good. What better way to address your issues or condition than by using the power of your own mind? No chemicals, no drugs, no side-effects

Often the negative habits or behaviours which bring us to therapy have already been put in place by negative self-hypnosis in the first place! It is only then proper and right that as hypnotherapists, we treat and change these, by using hypnosis in a positive way. In other words, the bad habits, thinking styles and behaviours we have in place were put there initially, albeit unconsciously, by us!

Hypnotherapy works by allowing clients to focus on specific issues that they wish to change - in a very relaxed state. Under hypnosis, you can run through your mind the problem situation whilst feeling comfortable. This can be extremely beneficial for change as it allows the mind to "rehearse" a positive change so when the "real" situation occurs again we can confidently and naturally act differently.

 

The list of problems which can be treated is long and varied and clients are often surprised at the range of conditions that can be helped.
